Useful planning.
Clear assumptions.
Keep On helps people compare portable backup-power options against their own everyday needs.
How the estimate works
Average load is the sum of running watts × quantity × usage, plus the station idle allowance. Estimated runtime is nominal battery Wh × usable fraction × starting charge, divided by average load. You can edit the assumptions in the planner.
We check running output and the largest single additional motor-start demand separately. We assume only one motor starts at a time. Surge duration, outlets and real appliance behavior still need confirmation.
What the catalog represents
55 exact Amazon US listings are matched within a library of 65 researched standalone models from 12 brands. Specifications come from manufacturer sources. Inclusion does not depend on affiliate participation, and we do not claim independent hands-on testing. The default view shows matched Amazon listings. The research view retains models without an exact match. Amazon prices and stock are not displayed; check them at the store. Original labeled illustrations are not product photos.
How we may earn
When approved affiliate links are enabled, the relevant shopping buttons carry a commission disclosure. Estimated power fit and then capacity determine ranking; commission rates have no influence. You buy from the merchant, who handles checkout, delivery and support.
Your data
Plans and favorites stay in your browser. Sharing embeds a plan in the link itself. Aggregate daily counts record requests to view matches and shopping clicks without visitor identifiers, appliance details or plan names. Owner sessions and browsers signaling Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control are excluded. Hosting and external merchants have their own access logs and privacy practices.
